matali crasset: concentre de vie a modular sofa for campeggi

matali crasset continues her a collaboration with campeggi in the form of ‘concentré de vie’.  the modular sofa is an extension of the french designer’s previous furniture with italian company–‘dynamic life‘ and ‘sweet talk and dream‘– and debuts at the 2013 salone del mobile.

the seating object is composed of a box component and five soft elements: two square cushions, two L-shaped cushions and a rectangular pad; all of which can be arranged in a number of configurations to function as an armrest, footstool or pouf, the main structural frame acting as a binding agent that can be used as a single bed.

  • Where can I get one? Need it!

    Greg J Barber says:
  • looks cool, would be interested to check the comfort level, also looks very low to the ground, even when in the frame. also would the chair hold up when not in the frame? would have liked some shots of people sitting in them.
