mengxin li is a savannah-based freelance illustrator who enjoys creating illustrations with quirky styles and humorous concepts. she also likes to utilize motion graphic techniques to bring life to her illustrations, just like in this project below.
as part of her MFA in illustrationat at the savannah college of art and design, mengxin li has developed her thesis animation project called ‘electric zoo‘. taking her six month to complete, the goal of this final work was to create a quirky animation with references that target millennials worldwide. in other words, it all comes down to a ‘crazy electronic music party in new york city’.
