EOps noisezerio i+ eco edition in-ear headphones

UK-born hong kong-based designer michael young has collaborated with new york’s EOps technology limited to develop two new lines of accessories for apple products: the EOps noisezerio i+ eco edition in-ear headphones with remote and mic for the iPad, iPhone and iPod, and the EOps 0utercover P series multi-functional protective carrying case for the iPad.

the EOps noisezero i+ eco edition earphones are the first cornstarch earbuds on the market. they use eco-friendly cornstarch bio-plastics to house the earbuds and microphones. their horn-shaped chamber optimize acoustic performance enhancing the treble, and the large bass reflect port at the back of the ear phones provide a strong bass line. the form factor of the ear buds is designed to assist with the ease of positioning and passive noise isolation. the user can hold the slim portion of the bud inserting the silicone ear tips into the ear canal, and then rotate it 90 degrees in order to achieve a good acoustic seal.

the EOps 0utercover P series is a multi-functional protective carrying case platform for the iPad. it is constructed from a polycarbonate hard rear case which provides protection, rather than just a skin as most existing soft iPad cases on the market are. the polycarbonate case is combined with various front fabric cover designs. the soft cover can be folded back to the rear hard case, becoming a stand for typing or viewing videos. the design also comes with a travel document holder built into the fabric cover.

because of the popularity of people using the iPad to store photos, young and EOps have specifically designed a dock connector opening in the hard case, giving enough clearance in order to make sure that it is compatible with the apple camera connection kit. the 0utercover P series also includes a hand strap, reducing the risk of drop damage to the iPad when in use in moving vehicles. the design comes in 0utercover P1 to P3, with a range of fabric cover designs made from soft genunine sheep leather and non-woven felt.
