michael young‘s new i24r3portable wireless waterproof portable digital speaker platform for eops was unveiled at 100% design tokyo.

the i24r3portable is an extension of the i24r3 wireless speaker project, a collaboration between eops and michael young studio. rather than just creating a single product, the i24r3portable is a family of portable speakers surrounding a core portable speaker with various specific functional configurations to suit different user lifestyles.

it is ideal for both indoor and outdoor use and can be both powered by built-in lithium polymer rechargeable battery or ac adapter.

cutting edge portable audio technology: stunning sound quality with enhanced bass response 4×2.6 inches wide dispersion flat panel speaker exciters (2 exciters per channel) 2×4.5inches passive radiators (1 passive radiator per channel) class d amplifier with 2x10w rms output audio signal processor

the i24r3portable family consists of the following variant functional configurations: eops i24r3portable wireless usb speaker (sku = i24r3p-wusb): eops-onair 2.4ghz wireless audio platform the user can use the eops-onair 2.4ghz wireless usb audio to connect to pc or mac computers to stream any music source like itunes, internet radio and youtube. the use can also pair the eops-onair 2.4ghz wireless compatible i24r3p-wusb with the i24r3 wireless speaker system and listen to music played from the i24r3 subwoofer iphone dock or its i/o connected music source.
