mightyseed designs has introduced the ‘vespa 98 electric‘, an reinterpretation of the original vespa, produced by enrico piaggio. the concept is much more like a modern incarnation of the iconic vehicle, which now showcases sleek styling cues with streamlining features.

after thoroughly examining the history of the vespa – which means ‘wasp’ in italian- mightyseed designs has essentially created a modern scooter with a retro feel. the new design presents a bolder look, including a wide front part with a modern handle. as in the original vespa, the front mudguard houses the led headlight. the single-seat scooter does not have rear-view mirrors; instead it uses a lidar system placed at the rear, which notifies the rider.

the motor draws energy from a 30 AH lithium-ion battery pack that’s located in the belly of the scooter. the hub motor wheel has a sportier look than the original version. a sloping tail lamp strip of the rear indicator unit gives a unique appearance to vespa 98 concept. there is a huge storage area available inside the belly, which makes the vehicle most suitable for a holiday trip.
