milan-based studio migliore + servetto architects have recently realized the stand and setting for italian contemporary furniture company pedrali for the occasion of the 2016 salone del mobile. the project – ‘pedrali urban life’ – was developed with aims to place visitors at the center of their ‘kaleidoscope setting’ to enrich and highlight the new products being shown.

pedrali is an italian company producing contemporary furniture for public spaces, offices and homes

the furniture pieces have been placed in a succession of display units shaped like houses. elevated at different levels to form a skyline, the artificial landscape is illuminated by accents of light. the stands wrap around a central area with seating. visitors are led through the different spaces of rest, viewing and enjoyment of the furniture and ultimately, the space opens up to a lounge area used for hosting client meetings and hospitality events.

the setting was produced for the occasion of this year’s salone del mobile in milan

the units are connected but raised at different heights to create a skyline effect
