‘add up’ for UNO

el ultimo grito will be presenting a series of new works during the upcoming milan design week 2008. they have been collaborating with two spanish companies who will both be showing during the design week.

valencia-based manufacturer, UNO is working with the design studio on five lines, three of which will be ready to show in milan. ‘dr. moreau’ is a type of mutant sofa that has multiple components which can be reconfigured in many different ways. ‘add up’ follows a similar idea using a variety of table parts. ‘x coffee table’ will also be on show with the other two lines at the fair grounds and outside on via tortona.

their other collaboration is with madrid-based sofactual. for them, el ultimo grito has developed a composite bench system designed for the contract furniture market. resembling a japanese garden, the sofa is infinitely customizable and will be on show at superstudio, as part of the abcedario project.
