before designing the units, jung-hoon lee studied the form of accessories from past to present, extracting many common forms that caught his interest. simple spheres and straight lines were chosen for the ornaments which are made of brass, silver, and rose gold plating. the accessorized furniture collection includes the ‘yangban _ crown’, the ‘yangban _ pendant’ and ‘the yangban _ brooch’.

the ‘yangban _ crown’ takes shape as a small table adorned with earrings and decorations from the ancient oriental crown. the metallic ornaments look similar to earrings and are listed in a row on the front of the piece. showcasing a simple composition, the unit evokes an elegant and noble atmosphere.

the ‘yangban _ pendant’ piece showcases a distinctive form reminiscent of a necklace hanging around a woman’s neck. the decorations are positioned in a necklace-like shape and arrangement while the body of the table is also made of soft curves, in the form of a female neckline.

meanwhile, the ‘yangban _ brooch’ is a table design based on the idea of a brooch decoration attached to a clothing piece. jung-hoon lee designed the ornaments with traditional korean brooches in mind, and the body of the table was designed to be angled, mimicking the same shape of neatly pressed clothes.

the ornaments are made of brass and silver and rose gold plating, while the main body of the pieces is made in white to create an elegant background for the shiny decorations. the tables are also characterized by a personified appearance that looks like a person wearing accessories because the front and back are distinctly distinguished. with this project, the designer wanted to propose a new decorative nature by replacing furniture with the concept of a person decorated with accessories.
