MISSANA’s ‘bamboo’ collection is adapted for both indoor and outdoor living

spanish furniture brand, MISSANA, launches their latest collection with a series of dreamy visuals created by clap studio. comprising an armchair and a sofa, ‘bamboo’ marks the company’s first series designed for both indoor and outdoor use.

as the name implies, the bamboo collection emulates a stylized shape of the plant. ‘I was inspired by the bamboo forests to create a timeless collection in which both the structure and the upholstery play a main role,’ explains pavel vetrov, the ukrainian product designer who signed this piece. to achieve greater resistance and durability, MISSANA used a stainless steel structure for outdoor spaces and iron for indoor spaces with a wooden detail at its armrest.

to showcase this new collection, clap studio has utilized 3D art to create a mediterranean-inspired enclave in reference to MISSANA’s valencia origins. under the title ‘mediterranean frame of mind’, the sofas and chairs are displayed against a dreamy pastel backdrop.

‘we are inspired by the mediterranean and by the values of MISSANA: color, optimism, and wellbeing, to create a dreamlike universe in which to show their pieces,’ says jordi iranzo, creative director of clap. more than a just a place, the images aim to express a feeling, a longing, and a magical memory of the mediterranean, ‘each new launch will be set in this digitally created land. to present bamboo we have created a quarry by the sea where the collection appears bathed in the sun and surrounded by nature ‘.
