ceramic artist santiago lena and designer cristián mohaded introduce their first collaborative work, the RAZA collection, in which they craftily combine both disciplines. for this project, each bring from their own perspective a material game of opposition, rupture and difference that intersect at some point.

exploring the concepts of dynamism and scenographic composition in the RAZA collection, mohaded and lena  have created an intriguing set of cylindrical containers, lacking transcendent forms, with various heights and diameters. they are rich in material content and elaborated with different compositions of stoneware, colors and textures. but one oddly playful feature of the collection is the exploding effect of the stoneware — illustrated by a group of filaments that sprout out of the containers. hence, the spatial and morphological design of the pieces reveal the encounter of different things, the evidence of the strange and the ritual of what sprouts.
