Named after the Japanese word for ‘blooming,’ Moooi’s Hana Chair by Simone Bonanni blossoms in its versatility. In a delicate balance between ergonomics and aesthetics, the Italian designer crafts a chair that not only exceeds in comfort, but also graces any space with its elegance.

From 2012 to 2015, designer Simone Bonanni had worked with Marcel Wanders’ Amsterdam studio as a product designer and project leader before returning to Milan to start his own practice. Since then, he has established himself as an educator and founder of Simone Bonanni Design Studio. This collaboration with Moooi marks Bonanni’s return to the Wanders universe. Named after the Dutch word for beautiful, the brand is led by Marcel Wanders and Robin Bevers with the aim of bringing eclectic, original design to the market.
