moov now‘ is a smart wearable device designed by a international team of creatives, which combined the power of data tracking with an effective user experience. common fitness trackers can give users a good approximation of how far they’re running, they’re heart rate, routes, and other rudimentary bits of data. ‘moov now’ is designed  to give it better spatial awareness, merging its built-in accelerometer, gyroscope, and magnetometer to work together. to track all of the movements, the user can strap it to an arm or leg, to help analyze five different sports: running, cardio boxing, cycling, swimming, and bodyweights. another dimension to ‘moov’ is its artificially intelligent coaching that provides specifically designed training programs for multiple sports and physical activities.

like a real coach, ‘moov’ will analyze the person’s biomechanics during exercise and provide them with real-time AI powered feedback to maximize their every workout and help prevent injuries resulting from improper form. in terms of design, ian yen tried to give it a dynamic character through the distribution pattern and its resized holes based on the distance. the pattern of holes reduce the contact area between the skin and band to reach the cooling ventilation. in future designs, it will provide a greater variety of choices of the strap therefore users can pick and chose according to the occasion and preferences.
