muka design lab is an award-winning industrial design studio based in the basque country in spain and founded by lucas abajo and laxmi nazabal. they specialize in ‘slow design’, working with artisans and craftsmen, and using local materials to develop their projects. presented during salone del mobile 2016 at the salone satellite, ‘eva screen’ is an elegant way to separate spaces through sculpture and to bring nature into the interior environment. the screen references a leaf and evokes a more natural and warm setting.

its multiple uses go from dividing spaces in a big office, as a screen or even as an acoustic panel. the structure is made in solid beech and it can be mounted very easily. the fabric used is manufactured from gabriel®, environmentally friendly oeko-tex, certified and specially developed for screen panels and walls.
