japanese designer naoto fukasawa presented his ‘tomo‘ seating solution he created for italian company depadova at the company’s flagship store in milan. fukasawa’s design consists of a frame in aluminum, reinforced with steel, thus combining light lines with great strength.

at the same event swedish designer monica förster presented her lamp she did in collaboration with the company. the ‘circle’ lamp has a delicate, supple line, like the stem of a bulrush. a slender segment forms the arch that supports the lampshade, like a vintage hat. a floor lamp providing filtered direct lighting for a dining table or work table a reading area or a conversation zone in the living room.
