‘6 drawers’ chest – folks collection

singaporean designers nathan yong and jerry low collaborated under the studio name ‘air design group‘. in may 2009 jerry low has left and is embarking on his own creative journey. meanwhile two weeks ago, nathan yong showed new pieces of his own furniture collection ‘folks’ in the young talent zone ‘platform’ of the IFFS 2010 – the international furniture fair in singapore,

on display were also items like ‘papercut’ coffee table, ‘cornerblocks’ book shelf, ‘lalang’ hanger and magazine rack ‘paperchase’ he designed for the singaporean company grafunkt. ‘paperchase’ received a honorable mention in the open category of the fair’s FDA merit award.
