japanese studio nendo has unveiled the third product designed for the TEN:TEN watch collection. cleverly dubbed buckle, this timepiece features only two components, in comparison to a traditional one that consists of three: the watch, the wristband and the buckle that adjusts the straps’ length.

buckle by nendo removes unnecessary parts by fusing the timepiece and buckle together into one single element. the new design results in only two components as the two different straps transform into one long belt. this small gesture allows users to easily adjust the length and fasten the watch on the top of their wrist rather than on the bottom. similarly to other TEN:TEN products, the belt can easily be removed and changed into different colors and textures.
