already in anticipation of the winter holiday season, nendo has cooked up a snowy wonderland ice cream cake for häagen-dazs to be sold in their champs élysées store in paris this christmas season. ‘village’ comes in two flavors: caramel and nut, and an orange and dried fruit-based variation with berry-scented homes. each rooftop displays a different pattern — some scalloped, others straight — and has been dusted with a sprinkle of white chocolate powder, so that the village appears snow-covered.

customers who purchase more than one cake receive a chocolate bridge, which allow them to connect several of the small scenes together, turning the cakes into big ‘villages’ for large parties. the surface of each cake has been designed as an undulating landscape, so that the cakes connect seamlessly regardless of how they’re placed. ‘village’ will be sold at the häagen-dazs shop on the champs élysées in paris during the christmas season.
