japanese architecture firm and design studio nendo has developed ‘shadowstand’ for ELECOM. the collection consists of stands for smartphones and slate tablets in various sizes and colors. the piece cradles the device and seems to cast a shadow of a single flower in a vase. the presence of technology and absence of nature and authentic shadow results in a playful and useful design.
