designed by héctor ruiz velázquez, neolith’s stand at KBIS 2020 resembled a large living space that was open for fair-goers to explore. it prominently displayed their product’s capabilities as a 360° material that can be used for a diverse range of applications within a home. in fact, the unique booth’s exterior and interior walls, floors and more were fabricated from sintered stone. in contrast to these smooth surfaces, one wall of the exhibition was made of an intricate latticework in iron frost color, which flooded the space with additional light, transparency and expanded visitors’ horizons.

neolith’s sintered stone is a 100% natural material based on granite minerals, glass minerals and natural oxides. it is able to be manufactured in varied thicknesses, enabling the product to be used for many applications both inside and outside a home, from the floors to the walls and even from the kitchen countertops to the furniture. the versatile material can, in fact, dress up any project with one single color throughout.

the product offers a wide variety of color options, too. for the stand, their mont blanc color – a rich, glowing white – emitted a warm, welcoming appearance and was complemented by a few additional neutral colors from their expansive collection. at closer glance, neolith’s full body veining outstood. their technology achieves the vein throughout the entire slab, not just the surface, to visualize a material of richness, preciousness and grandeur. calacatta luxe also brings a bold new dimension to the marble-inspired range, and is available in a matte texture that feels like natural stone.

inside their model home at KBIS 2020, neolith’s exhibition integrates a variety of appliances directly into their countertops. for example, PITT cooking, an innovative gas hob, showcases the all-encompassing capabilities of their products. the exhibition further enhances lighting, such as konstantin grcic‘s noctambule for flos, and also furniture by doca.

we were able to not only reveal our newest products to regional architects, designers, specifiers and other members of the kitchen and bath industry, but showcase the material’s versatility, durability and exceptional aesthetic qualities in a real-world application, concludes mar esteve cortes, neolith director. ‘the booth highlighted the ways in which the right lighting and furniture can perfectly complement the material.
