‘hotspot’, 2008 (polished stainless steel, fluorescent lights and ledstrip)

niels van eijk & miriam van der lubbe are a collaborative team of dutch designers living and working in eindhoven. the duo has been making furniture and product designs as well as working on spatial projects for many years. they have contributed pieces to droog design and moooi, in addition to teaching at the design academy in eindhoven. their work is very characteristic of dutch design, combining humour and experimentation to create imaginative works. here is a collection of some of their new projects and some examples from the past. ‘hotspot’, 2008 (polished stainless steel, fluorescent lights and ledstrip)
