established in 1967, nikari is a finland-based wood design studio and furniture manufacturer who collaborated from its beginnings with architecture and design masters like alvar aalto and kaj franck. their foundations rest upon the idea of carrying on the traditions of nordic cabinetmaking while bringing out the best of wood in contemporary design. for the 2018 edition of stockholm furniture fair, nikari presents a series of products that make up their collection.

designed by nikari’s founder kari virtanen, the ARKIPELAGO KVBP10 is their latest addition to the collection. the high table has been designed to fit both indoor and outdoor spaces thanks to its joints and details that can survive the demanding weather conditions. available in ash and oak, the high table is elegant and contemporary.
