NIKE fuelbox vending machine dispenses goods in exchange for fuelband points
no coins required. items from the vending machine are priced between around 500 -1000 fuel points.
filled mostly filled with things like socks, shirts, and hats, NIKE has introduced ‘fuelbox’, a vending machine that offers goods in exchange for fuelband points. the automated dispenser was installed and hidden throughout parts of new york city to help promote NIKE’s wearable fitness tracker.
NIKE fuelbox vending machines are scattered throughout NYC
apparently, the system only counts fuel points collected from the past 24 hours, not the points racked up over time. items are priced between around 500 — 1000 fuel points, with the NIKE ‘fuelbox’ only staying stocked until all the goods have been claimed. so if you’re in NYC, keep your eyes peeled for when it shows up next.
