note design studio: trapets lighting for zero

‘trapets’ by note design studio for zero

stockholm-based firm note design studio has completed ‘trapets’, a fluorescent pendant fixture for swedish manufacturer zero. based on the idea of the trapeze, the traditional shape is playfully reinterpreted with an aluminum shade folded onto a wooden pole. the draped form, available in white, silver and black, gently directs the light. the fixture is equipped with a T5 eco fluorescent tube light.

  • Really nice ! Congrats !

    Bull says:
  • elegant

    dbkii says:
  • Wonderful design except for the broom stick pocking out of the unit. I do understand the trapeze concept but it could have been better executed while conveying the same idea, other than that is right on the money

    ArtCrit says:
  • I enjoy the silver shade the most, very classy and elegant design. I really like this light.

    ideann says:
  • nice…. like it.

    Alok Kumar says:
  • Good one….except that the metallic finish and the wooden finish do not comply with each other….!

    subhankar says:
  • A bit heavy on the end where the power supply runs to the lamp. The pictures are a bit misleading in that respect. Instead of trying to hide the supply, work with it, i.e, coil the supply around the support register. For me, it\’s a cold sore on a really pretty face.
