NYCxDESIGN 2020 is set to be more expansive and experiential than ever before

from may 12-20 2020, NYCxDESIGN will bring designers and design enthusiasts from all over the world to new york, making the city that is already home to more than 8,000 design firms, 800 museums and galleries, and 10 internationally-renowned design schools, the de facto design capital of the world. in 2019, the event attracted over 300,000 attendees to 400-plus events, generating $110 million in revenue to businesses throughout the 5 boroughs, just from visitors. the 2020 edition is expected to be bigger and more experiential than ever.

a more expansive 2020 festival is just one part of the vision for NYCxDESIGN. in november, the program will launch a comprehensive website with fresh content and resources. NYCxDESIGN is also planning a new series of talks and podcasts featuring voices from the industry while a bi-annual magazine will debut prior to the festival in may. additionally, the company will collaborate with other organizations and events to encourage more brands and designers to get involved in an experience available nowhere else in the world.
