selected as the best performance project at the stockholm furniture & light fair 2018, ryu kozeki design studio’s ‘oculus’ lamps are sculptured and carved to provide a certain light appearance. the prototypes 1 and 2 are white, non-textured plaster statues with very subtle yet functional shapes. 

 

prototype 1 which can have three different-shaped holes, makes a perfect circle of light on the table. meanwhile, kozeki’s prototype 2 is an ellipse creating a delicate gradient light reflection.
