olafur eliasson: your rainbow panorama update

earlier this summer designboom wrote a story on danish artist olafur eliasson’s installation ‘your rainbow panorama’, a large scale walkway to be set atop the ARoS århus kunstmuseum. with construction underway, here’s just a quick update on how the building process of the work is going. ‘your rainbow panorama’ is set for completion by the end of this year.

elisasson’s large rooftop walkway measures 52 metres in diameter and is constructed from a color spectrum of glass which runs around its entire perimeter. when complete, ‘your rainbow panorama’ will measure a distance of 150 m, providing visitors to the ARoS århus kunstmuseum a 360º view of  the city of århus, denmark.
