earlier today the logo for the 2012 olympic games in london was unveiled at a ‘star-studded ceremony’. the spikey emblem, based on the date 2012, comes in a series of shades of pink, blue, green and orange and will evolve in the run-up to the games. the new design by wolff olins cost 400,000 GBP and has received ‘a mixed response’ so far. read more via BBC and creative review
