norwegian design studio anderssen & voll have developed ‘oslo’, a sofa series for danish furniture house muuto. crafted in the west coast of norway, the collection introduces a three-seater couch, chair and pouf – each with built in pillows that maintain an overall air aesthetic expression. ‘we wanted to make an organic and human sofa series with a light and inviting appearance, without compromising on comfort.’ says anderssen & voll. ‘the horizontal division in the seat is important, as it allowed us to add extra comfort in the lower part of the furniture,’ they add.
