parasite eyewear is a symbiosis between science fiction and design. the collection of optical and sunglasses integrate stereo frames, which means that wearing the specs does not involve the support of your nose or ears–instead the arms hug the side of the wearer’s face, against the temples. the reference point is the lower arm which is meant to be placed on the temporal bone, close to the ear which is an insensitive part of the face.
each pair is made from a special stainless steel alloy called steelskin, with an injection of polyurethane over the metal frames. the chosen material, though extremely thin is highly resistant and lightweight, offering comfort as well as easily adjustable. all parasite eyewear designs are anallergic and recyclable and produced in france.
