'passanaha olive oil bottle' by michael young
british designer michael young was commissioned by base design and portugese company passanha oil to design a new bottle for the company, to coincide with the relaunch of the historical company. the new bottle consists of a ‘drop’ divided into upper and lower parts by a horizontal ridge, representing the olive oil press and at the same time emphasizing the oil and its color. passanha will release their new oil in march 2009.
