milan-based designer patricia urquiola has conceived ‘cottage’ for spanish furniture company kettal. presented at the 2012 salone del mobile 2012 the exterior structure takes its form from an architectural typology that is streamlined, minimalistic and modern. wooden struts provide support and rigidity to the aluminum coated triangular frames. the edifice can be left exposed or draped with the collection’s ‘nido n’ fabric to provide levels of privacy. the cabana seats up to two people and can come in several color and finish combinations.
