the ‘compas’ chair by french designer patrick norguet is a stackable chair that can be used indoors or outdoors. developed for and produced by italian furniture company kristalia, the seat and back of ‘compas’ are made in polypropylene, while the legs, positioned in an upside-down V-shape, are executed in pressure die-cast aluminium and finished with a weatherproof epoxy lacquer. the seating object made its debut at silvera-université in paris as part of norguet’s retrospective exhibition during maison et objet 2012.

  • Visually and structurally a very nice chair
    Why does the top of the armrest not wrap down to the seat though?
    It seems like a perfect place to snag sleeves and dusties.
