french industrial designer patrick norguet has created ‘fly’ chair for OFFECCT and was on display at stockholm furniture fair 2010. the chair design is reminiscent of an eastern aesthetic as norguet compares the shape of the chair to the helmet worn by japanese samurai. the fabric stretching over the material frame gives the chair its shapely definition. the manufacturing process of the fabric requires very little energy and as such meets OFFECCT’s high demands for sustainable production.
