when selecting marble and copper to create the ‘santa clara’ collection, mexican-based peca studio brought the idea of gravitas and lightness together. the decorative set consists of two different objects made of a marble piece that each has a fitting to accommodate their corresponding hammered copper container. these versatile accessories may find their place on a desk where they can be used as paperweights, card or pencil holders, as bookends on a shelf, or cradling jewelry and other small personal belongings.

the copper pieces were completely handmade and produced in santa clara del cobre, a mexican town that is home to many practicing coppersmiths. as for the marble, the collection offers two different colors: black and white. the artisan work and the high adaptability of these pieces make a unique and thoughtful gift.
