‘stitch’ by dutch designer pepe heykoop is a family of discarded items found on the street or in second hand shops. the collection of furniture objects features a hand stitched skin stuffed with soft fibres.

‘sputnik’ is a papermaché bubble trapped in a metal frame. the freehand production process determines the shape. while the outcome is varied each time, together they form a family. ‘sputnik’ carries an energy saving bulb. once lit up its design is reminiscent of a full moon.
