perezochando designs a collection of candy-colored bowls and cozy houses for pets

casa is a project by perezochando studio that aims to expand the market for tasteful pet kennels for the home. the intention was to adapt the kennel to the needs of the animals with a product that could be seamlessly integrated into the decor of contemporary homes. the designers’ simple object is easy to build and can be manufactured in a straightforward way, resulting in an efficient yet pleasing design. 

perezochando’s kennel has a soft and cozy quality, appealing to cats, dogs, and their owners. the designers used felt to build the walls and the door, a foam cushion for the base and a plastic rod structure. the front part of the house has a door that can be kept open by hanging it on the handle of the upper part or closing so that the animal has more privacy. the house can be stored or transported very easily since it becomes a compact object when folded. casa is produced in two sizes so that it can adapt to different pets. 

the collection also includes a series of feeders, drinking bowls and pet dishes that aesthetically blend into the owner’s house. the designers also observed that when pets eat, the surrounding area becomes messy with food and water. so, their design includes a dish that collects crumbs and spilled water so as not to stain and disturb the rest of the space. 

the sophisticated pet dishware is made of different color porcelain making them a candy-colored and eyecatching design object. the interior of the pieces are finished in gloss and the exterior in matt, providing an interesting combination within each bowl. the feeders and plates are available in two sizes to accommodate the various types of pets. perezochando’s pet-friendly designs bring in cleanliness and beauty to the pet’s space.
