  • horrible stuff….

    J says:
  • complete sh….

    AB says:
  • i can’t decide if this is worse than the previous effort

    kanye says:
  • lol, this is so bad it makes me laugh.

    mdl says:
  • better be polite guys, otherwise designboom editors will censor you to death. It’s been something very regular on the past few weeks here.

regarding the work presented here, well I can’t comment on this. It’s just way too horrible.

    Amanda says:
  • strange sense of elegance…. I do like million times more the Divine chair from Ventury!!!! http://www.ventury.fr

    cathy says:
  • Smell’s like shit?

    Jean-Luc DeLaRue says:
  • Stick to the Music, spoiled celeb ego design

    Hummer says:
  • I can call it “New rich’s Design”

    Laurindo Feliciano says:
  • “stick to the music” ….he makes music?

a classic piece of timeless modernism.
so simple… so beautiful and elgant. the proportions!

    franksidebottom says:
  • Personnaly, I think that Designboom should no take in consideration ego trip like that, but real, innovative stuff. This planet needs it so bad.

    poetti says:
  • Designer make beautiful things. But sometimes, they make horrible things. These are examples…. No good at all…

    kid.alex says:
  • WAR IS NO GAME.
Why make this kind of rubbish?

    DK says:
  • I actually like this. especially the pink one. It’d be much better if it worked/rolled though. It’d be awesome to use a working one as a desk chair.

“get out of my way fellow office workers, i’m sitting on a chair that has TANK TRACKS!”

    no?

I liked his other one too. the one with manikin limbs. Just think they have a nice bit of fun about them. No style though, they are vulgar, but represent hip-hop perfectly.

    thewhodio says:
  • …so i understand this is a joke, but i don’t get it.

    travis says:
  • ok that suck and i know why: because you it’s ok to do shits and to find stupid dudes to publish it and even more stupid ones to show it in their gallery, but it suck in so many ways and it’s even unforgivable to Designboom, wich i considered as a valuable website to present shits. I am sorry for the art and design community that will have to get that remarquable representation of dumbness in their mail box. They will just think that the designboom webmaster is now a dog or even worse, a slut! I don’t want to seam crazy, but maybe that whatever artist payed everybody to show his shit so he can have a lot of fun!

    Francis says:
  • doesn’t look stackble…whats the point?

    V says:
  • I think the chair isn’t so bad, he’s a design student really and this is as good as what most students produce 😛

Why are some people complaining about Designboom for publishing this? A pretty well-known celebrity designs a chair, it’s design news… isn’t that what you are here to find out about?!

    Dennis says:
  • design news…. design created by designers, and not created by pseudo-designers.

    terry clarck says:
  • who is this that keeps stating better be polite guys…? I mean is this a serious chair or something tongue-in-cheek? The chair looks not well thought out, a one-liner of sorts. Is it a piece of art making commentary on furniture or an actual piece of furniture. And is Pharrell a design student or someone capitalizing on his pre-existing brand cache? It’s along the line of Kid Robot/BAPE/coogi brands that maybe Usher, eminem, and little Bieber will put in their clubhouses/yo MTV cribs. I am done with this PR junket crap out there. Is it hype or is it buzz?

    Kg says:
  • The tracks should be wider at the top than the bottom if they are to emulate those of a military tank. And isn’t the seat exactly the same as the one he used for his ‘perspective’ chair which is a seat design almost identical to that of a classic chair by some other designer?

    jon says:
  • I think it’s design for Hip-Hop fans. Most “designers” like design made by “designers” for “designers” here is something that is made for a rap video and for people who buy BAPE, Icecream, BBC etc. These people exist, this chair has an audience. No need for the Apple/Muji/Monocle/ crew to get angry about it ;-P

    D says:
  • All of the most severe way for you to misfire another person has been to be session exact anyway , they consumers finding out you are
