our cultural obsession with vintage photo aesthetics is cleverly curated in the photodarium – a tear-off calendar which mimics the process of an instagram feed. the photo project, now in its 7th edition, aims to construct a modern and young view on eroticism beyond pornographic clichés by collating erotic polaroid photography.

day by day the ‘photodarium private’ – which curates the work of 250 photographers, including well-known names, new-comers and professionals from all over the world – reveals an uncensored image containing an artistic approach to nudity (or what the creators call a ‘cheeky instant-picture’). as well as the image the calendar reveals a little about the artist too showing a little text explaining the emergence of the image and information about the photographer. the photodarium comes in a classic edition for those less erotically-minded.
