in digital imaging, a pixel is the smallest piece of information in an image. pixels are normally arranged in a regular 2-dimensional grid, and are often represented using dots, squares, or rectangles. the ‘pixel – nesting side table’ by british born, swedish based designer damian williamson is a pixel evolution that welcomes the pixel into the 3-dimensional world.
‘pixel’ was presented as part of the ‘swedish style‘ exhibition at the nordic light hotel during the stockholm design week 09.
