‘Hoyry’ pop-up sauna tent by Sunga

Osaka-based outdoor equipment manufacturer Sunga introduces ‘Hoyry,’ a sauna tent and wood-burning stove set that lets you enjoy outdoor heat sessions even in colder weather. The project gives a new twist to traditional sauna culture by making it portable with a pop-up structure that can be easily installed anywhere. The newly launched set comes with a stainless steel stove, as well as igneous sauna stones, allowing users to experience temperatures of up to 100 degrees Celsius.

easy installation and spacious interior

The Hoyry sauna tent is made of 300D oxford fabric with a 5-layer structure and provides optimal thermal insulation. The fabric with its semi-reflective coating is carefully sewn and filled with extra-thick down batting without gaps, so it has a heat retention capacity that can withstand the extreme cold of Siberia. The structure is spacious enough to accommodate three to four adults and has a maximum-size window that facilitates ventilation without compromising warmth. An opening at the top of the tent makes room for the chimney of the stove to blow its steam outside.

The pop-up tent is so compact that it can be taken anywhere and placed in any desired outdoor location. The dimensions and weight of Sunga’s set are 2150×2150×2000 cm and 14.5kg for the tent, and 250×650×460 and 21kg for the stove. The stove is made of stainless steel, light enough to carry and sturdy enough to support sauna stones up to 16 kg. The Hoyry tent set costs ¥134,800 (919 Euro) and comes in two color variations, black, and beige & white.
