prague designblok 08: whitefruits

besides showing the work of czech design students, designers’ catwalk served as a venue for individual
design studios to exhibit their projects. included in this category was czech design group whitefruits who
focuses on making functional ceramic and porcelain pieces for the everyday. at prague designblok 2008,
they presented ‘take away’, a show of their best products from over the last few years. their ceramic work
was displayed nestled inside fruit crates on a wooden table alongside a scale giving off the vibe of a
market place. their booth was one of the busiest with many visitors snatching up the ceramic wares
which were available for purchase.
