The 31st edition of the annual festival of fabrics, Proposte, opens from May 2 – 4, 2024 at Villa Erba, Cernobbio in Lake Como, Italy. The showcase welcomes both professionals and enthusiasts into the worlds of furnishing fabrics and curtains, displaying the new collections of the very best manufacturers from across the globe.

79 new and old fabric exhibitors

Building on the success of 2023, Proposte 2024 curates a larger exhibition list than ever before. 79 international manufacturers showcase their new collections of upholstery fabrics, curtains, trimmings, and wallcoverings at the fair: 31 from Italy and 48 from across the globe.

Returning highlights include Eda – Enzo degli Angiuoni (Italy), who are globally renowned for quality and style excellence of its furnishing fabrics, and Seteria Bianchi (Italy), who are one of very few that offers pure silk furnishing fabrics in a variety of purposes, from heavy curtains to wallcoverings. A series of contemporary as well as historic exhibitors are also set to debut at the fair: Print4Group (Italy), Tissage Mahieu (Belgium) Belo Velvets (Belgium), Aquaclean Fabrics (Spain), Tissage des Flandres (France), Harris Tweed Hebrides (Great Britain), and Mariantonia Urru (Italy).

All exhibitors are united in their committed to creating cutting-edge collections, with the most novel set to be on show over the three-day festival. With all exhibitors displaying different styles, materials and techniques, the textiles are all distinguished by excellence, originating from the perfect interweave of creativity and technology.

31 exhibitors join from Italy whereas the remaining 48 are welcomed from across the globe

Following the 30th edition, the Ala Regina Space returns to Proposte 2024. Created in partnership with Comocrea Interni, the event is dedicated to textile design in the furnishing fabrics industry. It brings together the best international design studios to demonstrate, converse, and network with global manufacturers.
