monocomplex has envisioned a new piece for the home with help from man’s best friend. titled ‘puppy sofa,’ the team has manipulated the typical form of the domesticated animal’s head to fit within the confines of furniture design. the seat takes shape as a smooth polygon form that is supported by four wooden legs and stitched in dark brown and light beige leather that complement one another to further the metaphor. meanwhile, the ‘ears’ perform the functional property of allowing users to easily store objects such as books, television remotes, and other everyday objects on both sides.
