duncan shotton: rainbow pencils made from recycled paper

duncan shotton is known for adding a bit of humour and fun to mundane office supplies as seen previously with his ‘real boy pins’ and ‘nessie pins’ and ‘cloud’ key holder. the british designer has now launched a kickstarter project to support his latest project, ‘rainbow pencils’. made from recycled paper, when one sharpens the drawing tools they create fun, paper rainbows, adding a bit of life to the typical, often messy wood and graphite shavings. each ‘rainbow pencil’ is made from six rainbow layers of recycled waste paper which are finished in either black and white and come packaged in a paper-over-board tray and card sleeve in sets of five.
