‘nature v2.01’

‘draw me a sheep’ is the collective design studio of boyoung jung and emmanuel wolfs, who met a the royal college of art in london. their studio is based in belgium and they design a diverse range of products and installations which border on art. one of their limited edition pieces takes inspiration from trees. ‘nature v2.01’ is a chair that appears to be a seat shapes log, bent at the perfect angle for sitting. the design has bark on the back and front and the appearance of inside the tree on both sides. this same technique is also visible on their ‘square tree trunk’ series of benches and stools that appear to be square tree trunks. the pieces are all made by covering wooden beams in actual tree bark. ‘nature v2.01’
