‘bottle rockets’ in indigo rinse from bonobos

‘bottle rockets’ are new york-based apparel company bonobos‘ latest denim pants which are produced from, well, recycled plastic beer bottles. the jeans which are available in ‘indigo rinse’ or ‘natural canvas’ finishes were developed in celebration of this year’s earth day and feature earthspun® yarn produced from cone denim‘s white oak mill. the composition of the material is made-up of recycled cotton and polyester in combination with plastic beer bottles, which ranges between 3-5 for each pair, to make the final product. in addition to the eco-fabric, the bonobos ‘bottle rocket’ jeans have sailcloth-like pocket liners which have an origin and ingredient stamp, including another one which indicates the number of bottles used to produce each pair.
