with ‘freeze’, saint-clair brings a fresh outlook to the legendary ‘arm lamps’ characterised by pivots, springs and multiple positions. in this design, one single position is solidified and frozen in a static and immutable sculpture. using the additive process of selective laser sintering in steel, the lamp receives an extra metal coating and is equipped with a LED bulb.
