lebanese designer richard yasmine has a knack for combining reality and fantasy. his side table, fittingly deemed ‘glory holes’ is a perfect example of his approach. the functional — in more ways than one — piece was conceptualized as a representation of the sweetness of revenge. the table has a top of marble, with solid brass hand-turned and polished sex toys (read; supports), and a base of black sheet metal. ‘glory holes’ is reversible, depending on whether the user wants a larger top and smaller base, or opposite. all of the multi-sized brass pieces are removable, enabling table customization, and other extra-curricular activities.
