rifruf introduces vet-endorsed design-driven dog sneakers

NYC-based brand rifruf introduces vet-endorsed, design-driven dog shoes, created to provide style and comfort to man’s best friend. aiming to help our furry friends look their best and live life to the fullest, the shoes represent what the company values best: modern design, sneaker culture, a dose of nostalgia, and most importantly, dogs.

dubbed ‘caesar 1’, the new kicks take their name after rifruf‘s chief dog officer and star canine model who lives in new york, where scorching hot summers and freezing cold winters take turns. after multiple instances of caesar’s paws getting burnt, inflamed, or cut, the designers knew that he needed dog shoes ASAP. upon searching the market for design-driven dog shoes but realizing nothing came close to their expectations, the brand was born.

‘dogs and humans have been companions for over 16,000 years, yet to this day not a single person thought of creating a quality set of dog shoes that function and actually look good – we are here to change that’ the rifruf team shares. the shoes are made from custom knitted ‘rufknit’ mesh upper and natural rubber outsoles – the same materials one finds in their favorite human sneakers. secured with velcro straps at the heel, the design allows for a custom fit that accommodates most paws while locking the shoe in place.
