roger arquer studio: birdland

birdland is a compilation of 15 conceptual birdhouses designed by roger arquer studio. making reference to the iconic shape of the birdhouse, each piece has it’s own identity, and when put together, form a family.

arquer exhibited his new birdhouses in the ‘I’m in love!’ exhibition at the spanish embassy in tokyo. the show was organized by ICEX(spanish institue for foreign trade) and part of tokyo design week 2009.

  • Good.

    Pardon says:
  • I don’t think a public garden is a good place for the mountage… Equipment in public places is supposed to be and-vandal… And even a kid can destroy this!

…and he forgot some shadows in the 7th picture

I think it’s a nice loving piece foi individual use.

    Sr_Chipicao says:
  • …He did not forgot the shadows… in the 7th picture.
    There are 10… and 10 shadows also…

    It’s NICE!!!

    Giedre says:
  • I like it,
Posts in blogs are supposed to be spelled right (autocorrect!!) : )
This is obviously for private use, and more about story-telling than hard core usability.
    Very good job!

    Klaus says:

    jangze says:
  • To Sr_Chipicao, I guess he just don’t have an own garden.
How would you photgraph your design?
    A birdhouse in a bedroom?

    Mike says:
  • This is not a mountage, these are real !

    Roger says:
  • I like it , very lovely work
